What Was In The Rock Dwayne Johnson’s Fanny Pack

“In the world of pro-wrestling in the ’90s, everyone had a fanny pack.”

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s infamous throwback fanny pack photo is the stuff of internet legend. You’ve seen it at least a million times now.

For years, we’ve all wondered: What was he keeping in that fanny pack, anyway?

Yes, there was a time in which you had to write phone numbers down and have them somewhere other than your phone. It was a huge pain.

Dwayne also said there was other “stuff like that” in the fanny pack, including “a lot of inappropriate things I can’t mention right now.”

This isn’t the first time that The Rock has gestured towards the origin of his fanny pack — sorta.

In the Young Rock episode “Check Your Head,” young, uh, Rock (played by Uli Latukefu) rocked (sorry) the outfit at a party, and revealed that he was keeping some cash in there, too.

Who knows — maybe one day we’ll find out the full contents of the fanny pack. Until then, we’re stuck guessing!
