EFL clubs will be allowed to vote on a rule allowing them to wear away/third kits at home to help colour blind fans distinguish between the two sides. : Championship – Football News

According to the Telegraph Bolton and Sheffield Wednesday played Championship football last year. Nice to be back guys.

But seriously, I’m not colour blind but I do wonder about colour choices at times. The offending game

is here for your viewing pleasure, can’t say I had a great time telling the difference. To the point I reckon the normal blue and white striped home kit would be a better clash.

In my opinion allowing home teams an option of a change kit is a step in the right direction, but this is more on the kit manufacturers. They have to see articles like this and understand the importance of picking actual clashing colours for their designs.

The pale pastel colours, like Wednesday’s or Huddersfield’s are an obvious no-no if you play in white or have white stripes.
